Adidas sports base is an event for all sports fanatics and newcomers to try out and get involve with various athletic activity including football , streetball , running, training, skatboarding in Hong Kong. Together with design studio FutureLABS in Melbourne, We designed the digital experience for the entire event, including website, checkin app, circuit training game, skateboarding projections.

We explored the needs and actions of users at different stages, and then defined what features the site needs to provide.
In order to make the whole registration process easier, we divide the registered information into three steps. Only the first step is necessary. Users can skip the next step and create an account quickly.
The adidas sports base is a two-month event with hundreds of different categories of activities including football, basketball, running and more. To help users find activities that interest them, we recommend activities that users may be most interested in based on the interest preferences they choose when they sign up.
All categories of programs use the same template, and users can quickly switch between different categories.
Users can quickly view the points they have earned and what activities they have registered for in their profile.
Social sharing helps users express themselves and bring more influence to brands. Users can share the points and rewards with friends, and invite friends to attend events as well.
We designed an interactive mini-game about circuit training. People can touch the boost ball on the screen to get points which help people feel boost technology in the process of the game.
Before people join the game, they need to check-in in advance so the system can know who is playing the game.
We also worked with developers to create an interactive projection. This digital skateboarding experience was created in Unity3D. Two cameras were mounted above the ramp to track the position of the skater. Some game mechanics were provided to make the experience more interesting. For example, a donut will be spawned at a random position at the bottom of the ramp, once the skaters hit the donut, they can be rewarded with more points.
